Linda McEntyre

 

Honea Path – Linda Rosemary McEntyre, 76, wife of Donald “Donnie” Ray McEntyre, of Pinetree Drive, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Hosea Evans and Violet Loudermilk Madden. She was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Linda worked many years in the Scouting program on both the local and District level.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 57 years of the home are: three sons, Tracy McEntyre, Shawn McEntyre, and Brandon McEntyre; a sister, June Dukes; a granddaughter, Danielle (Candace) Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McEntyre was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Doris Massey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Austin Road Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Monday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Austin Road Baptist Church, 1619 Austin Rd, Honea Path SC 29654.  Messages of condolence may be made to the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
