Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Ralph Eugene and Vinnie Jeanette King Ashley. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was a member of Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. Randy previously had worked at Chiquola Manufacturing and in Law Enforcement with the Honea Path Police Department and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. He last worked at Beverage-Air. Randy loved and served the Lord with all his heart. He deeply loved his family.

Surviving are: his son, Jason (Amber) Ashley of Anderson; his daughter, Adrianne (Britney) Ashley of Augusta GA; four sisters, Janice (Carroll) Ashley, Patricia Corbin, Stacey (Wesley) Lyons, all of Honea Path, and Latashia Ashley of Anderson; six grandchildren, Ethan, Alyssa, Oliver, Christopher, Nicolas, and Hunter; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members that loved him dearly.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ralph Eugene Ashley, Jr.; a brother-in-law, Bob Corbin; and a sister, Brenda Gilmer.

Memorial services will be held at 4 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper and Mr. Jason Ashley officiating.

The family is at the home of his son, Jason, 512 E. Fredericks St, Anderson, SC, and will receive friends from 3-4 P.M. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
