Honea Path – Dollie Mae Haynes Johnson, 80, widow of William Clarence Johnson, of 610 Brook St., died Sunday at the Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Abbeville County she was a daughter of the late Joe and Margie Bagwell Haynes. She was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church. She was retired from Oxford Shirt Plant.
Surviving are one son, William Johnson and wife Betty of Honea Path, three daughtes, Mrs. John (Ellen) Duncan of Honea Path, Ms. Peggy Orvin of Honea Path, and Mrs. James C. (Donna) Ross of Honea Path, two brothers, George Haynes of Honea Path and Henry Haynes of Honea Path, two sisters, Edna Cowart of Donalds and Ethel Haynes of Honea Path, one step-brother, Roy Night of Grayland, Mi., one step-sister, Anna Laura Foster of Honea Path, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Claude Haynes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Broadmouth Baptist Church with Rev. T.W. McGuffin and Rev. Jones Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Wednesday. The family is at the home of a son, William Johnson, 4037 Highway 252, Honea Path. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
