Honea Path – Mrs. Mae Roselyn Craig Pridgen, 81, wife of Rev. Joseph Webster Pridgen, of 201 Wildwood Drive, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at AnMed Health Center in Anderson.
Born in Mt Olivet, Robertson County, Ky. she was a daughter of the late Frank Harold and Harriet Stewart Criag. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women and the Spares and Pairs Sunday School Class. She was a former Meals on Wheels Voulnteer. She was a graduate of Ashbury College, Wilmore, Ky.
Surviving are her husband of the home; two sons, Joseph O. Pridgen and wife Rebecca Pridgen of Buford, Ga., and Charles F. Pridgen and wife Claudia Pridgen of Rising Fawn, Ga.; three daughters, Martie Winter and husband Richard Winter of Montgomery, Al., Lynne Chandler and husband Rev. Philip Chandler of Rock Hill, and Mary LaVerne and husband Phil LaVerne of Honea Path; one brother, Harold Burns Craig of Ewing, Ky.; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 3 P.M. Wednesday. The family is at the home.
