Danny Coker

Honea Path – Danny Eugene Coker, 49, husband of Donna Cox Coker, of 108 Mountain Creek Rd., died Monday, August 10, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Spartanburg County, he was a son of Thomas Wilbert and Jackie Goode Coker. He was retired from Cryovac of Simpsonville and attended Dry Oak Assembly of God.

Surviving are his wife of the home; a son, Jason Coker of Anderson; two daughters, Terah Coker of the home, Carrie Logan and husband Jason of Anderson; a sister, Carolyn Patterson and husband Trent of Honea Path; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Holliday of Belton; and a granddaughter, Emma Logan of Anderson. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Pamela Jane Coker Holliday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at Dry Oak Assembly of God with Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Thursday.
