Perry Clinkscales

Donalds – Perry Carlton Clinkscales, 82, husband of Ruby Inez Beasley, died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Abbeville Area Medical Center.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Robert Paul and Lula McClain Clinkscales. He was a member and deacon of Donalds Baptist Church and was retired from Greenwood Mills.

Surviving are his wife of the home; one son, Robert Clinkscales of Abbeville and wife Miriam; one brother, William Thomas Clinkscales of Wallace; four grandchildren, Melanie Smith, Courtney Clinkscales, Jennifer Clinkscales, and Susan Clinkscales, and two great-grandchildren.

He was pre-deceased by a son, Charles Randall Clinkscales and a daughter, Sandra Marie Clinkscales.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday at Donalds Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Sturkie and Rev. Reuel Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Donalds Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. The family is at the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jerry (Judy) Mitchell, 198 Highway 178 South, Donalds. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
