FRANK MITCHELL


Franklin Eugene Mitchell, 60, husband of Gloria McClendon Mitchell of 340 Lakewood Drive died May 25, 2009 at Newberry County Hospital. He was born in Greenwood County, a son of Mildred Davis Mitchell Woodham of Ware Shoals and the late Claude H. Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a Medical Technician at Newberry County Hospital and a member of the American Society of Clinical Labs. He was a member of Still Water Baptist Church and had served in the Marines.

Surviving besides his wife of the home and mother of Ware Shoals, is a nephew, Josh Mitchell, Laurens and a great nephew, Carter Mitchell, Laurens and his loving canine pet, Sadie.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Ron Mitchell.

Memorial Services will be conducted Thursday at 3 pm at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Ware Shoals with Rev Dr.Bruce Ostrom and Rev. Eddie Bledsoe officiating.

The family is at the home of his mother, 5454 Poplar Springs Road and will receive friends Thursday, 2-3 pm at the Church. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital, 950 W.
