Linda Trott

Linda Booth Trott, 60 , of 139 W. Main St., died Monday, May 18, 2009 at her home. She was born in Richmond, Va., a daughter of the late Howard R. and Martha Ellen Ashley Booth. She was a registered nurse on the staff of Wesley Commons. She was an alumna of James Madison University with a major in Music and a minor in German. She was an accomplished pianist, an avid gardener, an enthusiastic golfer, and a lover of animals. Her great gift was the kindness and care she bestowed on family, friends, and patients.

Surviving are her beloved sons: Cort Emerson Booth Trott, Richmond, Va. And Cory William Booth Trott, Richmond, Va.: one brother, John Robert Booth and wife Rosie, Cary N.C. and one sister Martha Booth Griffith and husband Dan, Richmond, Va.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. James Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery .

Active pallbearers will be Jeff Smith , Ron Mitchell, Kevin McKee, Paul Gentry, Bruce Young and John B. Ashley.
