DORIS WALKER


Wagener, S.C. Doris Elizabeth Traynham Walker, 76, of 3232 Camp Rawls Road, widow of John William Walker died April 3, 2009 at Summerville Medical Center. She was born in Greenwood County, a daughter of the late Lawrence William and Edna Louise Young Traynham and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are two brothers , William “Greek” Traynham, Wagener, S.C. and Jimmy Traynham, St. Petersburg, Florida, and one sister, Edna Watt, Jacksonville, N.C.

She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence William Traynham, Jr. and a sister, Betty Robertson.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, 11 am at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating.

The families are at their respective homes and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home Monday, 6-8 pm. Online condolences may be made to www.parkerwhitepruitt.com.
