Eleanor Wright Anderson

Honea Path – Eleanor Walker Wright Anderson, 92, of The Maples, widow of William J. Anderson, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Lucius Lawton and Katherine Hudgens Wright. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was a retired First and Second Grade Teacher in the Greenville County School System.

Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Black of N. Augusta, S.C. and Judy Brown of Greensboro, N.C., and a granddaughter, Allison Black Dotson of Gardendale, Al. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Katherine Dugan, Gene Cooper and Margaret Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Will Harper officiating and Mr. Jonathan Donnald officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Greenville.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. The body will be placed in the church at 10 A.M.
