Dale Hill

Donalds – Calvin Ladale “Dale” Hill, 57, husband of Allie Phillips Hill, of 261 P&N Ave., died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at his home.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late James Henry Hill, Jr. and Sudie Gilmer Ridge. He was a Deacon and Member of Donalds Baptist Church. He was employed by Blair Mill of Belton.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one son, Kevin Hill of Greenwood, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Tracy) Crouch of Winchester, Va., Mrs. Danny (Michelle) Mitchell of Honea Path, and Mrs. Jason (Lee Ann) Taylor of Belton, step-mother, Ms. Mary Hill of Donalds, four brothers, Ken Hill of Abbeville, Robbie Hill of Donalds, Michael Hill of Ware Shoals, and Larry Ridge of Honea Path, three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Wanda) Stone of Honea Path, Mrs. Ronnie (Brenda) Vaughn of Donalds, and Mrs. Wilson (Debbie) Baggett of Monks Corner, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Ricky Hill.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Sturkey and Rev. Ruel Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
