Hazel Peevler

Ware Shoals – Hazel Agnes McKee Babb Peevler, 89 formerly of Ware Shoals died Tuesday August 26 at Magnolia Place in Greenville. Mrs. Peevler was twice married, first to the late Irvin Ray Babb and last to the late Gordon Edward Peevler.

Born in Anderson county she was a daughter of the late Harvey H. Mckee, Sr. and Mattie Bowick McKee. She was a member of Calvary Baptist church of Ware Shoals and was retired from the Shriners Childrens Hospital.

Surviving are one son; Steve Peevler and wife Debbie of Taylors, one daughter; Freida Elledge and husband John M. of Simpsonville, two brothers; Harvey H. McKee, Jr. of Hodges and Herman McKee of Ware Shoals, one sister; Mrs. Calvin “Dot” Jeanes, Ware Shoals, six grandchildren; Gary Kirby, Chris Elledge, Rod Elledge, Christie Crawford, Heather Belue and Mandie Peevler, greatgrandchildren; Caitlin Abby Elledge, Corey, Chaz and Cameron Kirby, Ava Grace Belue, Charlie and Baylee Crawford.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Thursday prior to the service at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Parker-White Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Emory will officiate . Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes. Special thanks to the staff’s of Magnolia Place and Lutheran Hospice.
