Mary Worrill

Ware Shoals – Mary McAlister Worrill, 79, widow of Charlie Worrill, formerly of Ware Shoals, died Sunday, August 03, 2008 at Embracing Arms Hospice in Snellville, Ga.

Born in Oconee County she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Eva Richey McAlister. She was a member of the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church. She was retired from Midland Ross Co.

Surviving are three daughters, Beth Turner of Greenville, Charlene Truncer of Hochton, Ga., and Eve Chiles of Snellville, Ga., six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, S.D. McAlister, Raymond McAlister, and Cecil McAlister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Dr. Floyd Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, Box 1178, Greenwood, S.C. 29648. Parker-White Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
