Honea Path - Grover Andrew “Andy” Davis, III, 49, of 8 Lusk St., died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at AnMed Health Center in Anderson.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of Frances Jay Ferguson Knight and the late Malcolm Knight. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a graduate of Erskine College and was a former teacher and coach at Dixie High School. He was an Eagle Scout and loved to play guitar.

Surviving are his mother of Honea Path; a nephew, Mak Kidd of Honea Path; a niece, Heather Ratliff of Elberton, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Mildred Shumpert of Honea Path, Terry and Gail Kahey of Belton, Jack and Amy Kahey of Carrolton, Ga.. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Brenda Ratliff.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
