Ware Shoals - Albert Wayne O’Dell, 80, husband of Gertrude Crane O’Dell of 152 Maddox Bridge Road died June 18, 2008 at his home. He was born in Laurens County, a son of the late James Furman and Nannie Mae Martin O’Dell. Mr. O’Dell was retired from Whitten Center and had worked forRiegel Textile Corp. 41 years. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club and a member of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving besides his wife of the home are; one son, Johnny O’Dell, Ware Shoals, one daughter, Ann Eppley, Hickory Tavern, three brothers, Donnie O’Dell, Ware Shoals, Jennings O’Dell, Ware Shoals, Tommy O’Dell, Greenwood, one sister, Ruth Ann Chastain, Ware Shoals, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 20, 2008 at Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2 pm with the Rev. Robert Bowling and Rev. Todd Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be George Hornesby, Michael Taylor, Danny Holloway, Tommy Lothridge, Tim Lothridge, Brad and Paul O’Dell and Eddie Crane.

The family is at the home and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home, Thursday, 7-9 pm. The body will be placed in the church at 1 pm Friday.
