Ware Shoals, S.C. – Jeanette F. McAllister, 67, of 43 Fairview Ave., died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Self Regional Medical Center.

She was a daughter of the late Monroe and Lula Grace Timms McAllister. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and the Quarter Century Club of Riegel Textile Co. She was retired from Park Seed Company.

She was Mother at Heart to Penny Rice Cooper, Julie Rice, and Kim Rice all of Hamilton, N. J., and Major Jon Rice IV, U.S. Air Force and wife Laura of Monterrey, Ca. She was Nana to their children, Will Cooper and Emily and Jonathan Rice. Also surviving are two sisters, Eugenia Rice of Hamilton, N.J. and Ruby Sweat of Ware Shoals, and one brother, Albert (Mac) McAllister of Greenwood,. She was beloved aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

She was pre-deceased by a twin brother, Jimmy McAllister, other brothers, Ralph and Leonard McAllister, and sisters, Laura Seawright and Lois Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Belton City Cemetery.

Deacons will serve as active pallbearers and the Love Sunday School Class will be Honorary Escort.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Monday at Parker-White Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 2 P.M. Tuesday. The family is at the home.
