Lynn Richey

Donalds – Robert Lynn Richey, 86, of 8565 Highway 184 E., widower of Dora Powell Richey died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.

Born in Abbeville County he was a son of the late Lee and Bessie Darby Richey. He attended the Donalds Church of God and was a veteran of the U.S. Army World War II. He was retired from Riegel Textile Co.

Surviving are two sons, Neal Richey and wife Kim of Greenwood and Ronald M. Richey and wife Janice of Honea Path, two daughters, Tina Richey Skinner and husband Keith of Donalds and Tammie Richey Smith and husband Lonnie of Hodges, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and caregivers, Patsy Vinson, Lynn Solomon, Christy Higginbotham, and Clara Lomax.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at Donalds Church of God with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Belton.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Skinner, Wesley Skinner, T.J. Richey, Chad Richey, David Kitzmiller, Dwayne Robinson, Cody Smith, and Matthew Richey.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 2 P.M. Thursday. The family is at the home, 8565 Highway 184 East, Donalds. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
