Mildred “Mickey” Duffell

Waco, N.C. – Mrs. Mildred Irene Duffell, 67, of 347 Toby Bridge Road, widow of Leroy Duffle, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, N.C.

Born in Commerce, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Hoyle B. Dale and Catherine Moore Merritt. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked for Abbney Mills.

Surviving are:: One daughter, Rev. Belinda Jane Worley , Duncan, one son, Roy Farrion Duffell, Waco, N.C. two sisters, Joyce Trotter of Cherryville, N.C. and Brenda Roberge of St. Mary’s, Ga.; Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Rodney Lee Duffell and a daughter,, Rhonda Renee Duffell and a brother, Jimmy H. Dale.

Rev. Belinda Jane Worley will conduct a graveside service Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11A.M. at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church Cemetery, Ware Shoals, S.C.
