L.B. Jenkins

Ware Shoals – Laurence Bobby Jenkins, 73 of 3468 Poplar Springs Road, husband of Shelby Jean Taylor Jenkins, died Friday March 21, 2008 at his home.

Born in Buncombe County, N.C. he was a son of the late Logan Cline Jenkins, Jr. and Virgie Silver Jenkins. He attended West Main Street Church of God and had worked with Bryant Construction.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one daughter; Pamela Jenkins Hall of Ware Shoals, three grandchildren; Leigh Hall, R.J. Hall and Meredith Hall and one great grandchild; Caden Hall, four brothers; Ray Jenkins and Charlie Jenkins both of Hickory Tavern, David Jenkins and Larry Jenkins both of Honea Path, three sisters; Nancy Aultman and Betty Flack both of Hickory Tavern and Ann Reiney of Columbus, Ga.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Smith and Rev. Hans Wunch officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family is at the home.
