Sally Stone

Honea Path – Sally Elizabeth Murdock Stone, 55, wife of Louis Michael Stone, of 1120 Griffin Farm Rd. died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Howard Wendell and Edith Brock Murdock. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. She was Home Health Administrator Region # 2 DHEC. She was a graduate of Belton-Honea Path High School and received a masters degree in Nursing from Clemson University with Honors. She was a member of the Clemson Alumni Association and the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau.

Surviving are her husband of the home, three sons, Louis Michael Stone, Jr., Howard Daniel Stone, and John Franklin Stone all of the home, one daughter, Amy Elizabeth Stone of the home, two brothers, Johnny K. Murdock of Gastonia, N.C. and Marshall Murdock of Hermitage, TN. She was pre-deceased by an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Friday. The family is at the home. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
