Lois B. Blizzard

Donalds – Mrs. Lois Batson Blizzard, 85, of 518 Dunns Creek Road, widow of Junius Carson Blizzard, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Hospice House of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Batson and Annie Elizabeth Medlock Batson. She was a member of the Ware Shoals Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving is a daughter; Nancy Collins of Donalds; three grandchildren, Aubrey Collins, Jr. of the home, Stephen Collins and wife Kellie of Hodges, Robert Collins and wife Misty of Ware Shoals; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday in the Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. DeWayne Willis officiating. Burial to follow in the Edgewood Cemetery, Greenwood. Grandsons and Great-Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 P.M. at Parker-White Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of The Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave., Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home.
