Eugene Bell, Sr.

Honea Path -Eugene Haywood Bell, Sr. 84 of 4045 Hwy 252, husband of Gladys Ruth Crawford Bell, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Hospice of the Upstate

Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Willie and Lillie Mae Motes Bell. He retired form Goodman Conveyer and was a member of Honea Path Church of God. He was a member of Centre Lodge #37A.F.M.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one son Gene Bell of Donalds, one daughter, Karen Bell of the home, three brothers, John and Charles Bell, both of Honea Path, and Sammie Bell of Bishopville, two sisters Nora Davis of Honea Path and Ethel Malone of Niceville Fl., and four grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Harold Babb Bell and Bill Bell, and a sister, Lula Mae Vaughn.

Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday at Honea Path Church of God with Rev. George Cooper and Rev. Charlie Driggers Officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Sunday. The Family is at the home.
