Mary Brock

Honea Path – Mary Margaret Whitt Brock, 89, widow of Jason Brock, formerly of 216 W. Oak Drive Ext., died Sunday, January 06, 2008 at Willow Creek Nursing Center in Iva.

Born in Greenville County she was a daughter of the late Charlie E. “Bunk” and Sudie Bell Smith Whitt. She was a homemaker and a member of the Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are two sons, Jimmy Brock of Honea Path and Bobby Brock of Belton, two daughters, Mary Frances Garrett of Belton and Doris Abrams of Honea Path, one sister, Elzie Brock of Donalds, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Sybil Gambrell, a grandson, Mark Brock, a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Brock, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
