Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Willie Joe and Elizabeth Page Hinton. She was a member of the West Main Street Church of God. She attended BHP High School and graduated from Forest College with an AA degree. She was formerly employed by Dr. Darby Pendergrass, III at Pendergrass Family Health Center.
Surviving are her significant other, Robert Smerdon of the home, a son, Brandon Cothran of Ware Shoals, and a daughter, Erin Davis Gonce (Matthew) of Greenwood, a half sister, Kelly Koon of Anderson, and three grandchildren, Landon, Vera and Jett.
She was predeceased by her parents and three brothers, Dale Hinton, Joey Hinton, and Stanley Hinton and a sister, JoAnn Hinton Strickland.
Memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Byron Wood officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service.
