Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Zollie Homer and Emma Lee Smith Hill. She was twice married, first to the late Kenneth P. Jones. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She previously worked for Riegel Textile Co. in the SEO and later retired from Dusco, Inc. of Laurens.
Surviving are her husband Tommy Henderson of the home, a daughter, Patty Jones Nickles (Andrew) of Hodges, a stepson, Greg Henderson (Patti) of Gainesville, GA, a step-daughter, Sandra H. Spencer (Grant) of Waterloo, a sister, Debbie Hill Arflin of Edgefield, three grandchildren, Cory Nickles, Kerri Lauren Nickles, and Emily Nickles, and three step-grandchildren, Ashlyn Henderson, Morgan Henderson, and Kyle Henderson, two nephews, Matthew Haygood and Zach Haygood, both of Hodges..
She was pre-deceased by a sister Sandra Hill Haygood.
Memorial services will be held at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Babb officiating.
