He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Heller of 64 years, a sister Janice Stokes of Asheville, N.C., an aunt, Addie Jean Hedgepath, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents: Joe R. And Mary Timms Heller; his sister Betty H. Hill; and his brother Lloyd V. Heller.
He was retired from Perry Correctional as a trade supervisor after 25 years. He was educated in Belton and Williamston Schools.
Charles was a devoted member of Keowee Baptist Church, and was very active in many offices of the Church in his earlier years.
He was a member of Centre Lodge #37 A.F.M. and the Hejaz Shrine Temple of Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Keowee Baptist church with Rev. Tony Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
