Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late John Robert, Sr. and Christine Fisher McCoy. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are: a brother, John (Becky) McCoy of the home; his sister, Martha (Nickey) Fulbright of Belton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Olin McCoy.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
