Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Louise Brown Schumpert and the late James Luther “Pete” Schumpert. She was a member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church and retired from Lander University Humanities Division.
Surviving are her mother of Greenwood, her husband of the home, a daughter, Dana Brown, two sisters, Janet Daigrepont (Dan) of Taylors and Lori McIntyre of Ware Shoals, grandchildren, Lauren Greer, Reagan Greer, Tyler Brown, Dalton Hawkins, Jaydn Price, and Sydney Brown,
She was predeceased by her father and a son, James Matthew Greer.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Sunday May 15, 2022 at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.
