Belton – Patsy Louise Dutton Freeman, 73, widow of Danny Leon “Scatter” Freeman, of Trail Road, died Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of Mary Smith Dutton, and the late Sammy Dutton. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Ware Shoals are: her daughter, Sonya Diane Freeman; a grandson, raised in the home as a son, Justin (Kaley) Freeman; six brothers, Sammy Dutton, Raymond Dutton, Dennis Dutton, Kenny Dutton, Robert Dutton and Jeffery Dutton; four sisters, Judy Suttle, Mary Jane Coleman, Shelia Powell, and Debra Dutton; two grandchildren, Jay (Crystal) Winstead and Jala (Thomas) Brown; and five great-grandchildren, Chaley Freeman, Brian Freeman, Mason Winstead, Michael Winstead, and Nora Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father; her husband; two sons, Brian Lee Freeman and Danny Christopher Freeman; and a sister, Nancy Dutton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Tim Edmonds and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
