Born in Honea Path she was a daughter of the late John Coleman, Jr. and the late Grace Frances Smith Barnell and Robert “Bob” Barnell. Mrs. Richey was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church, and was retired from her work as a supervisor at J. P. Stevens Textile Mill and in the cafeteria at Anderson School District 2.
She is survived by her two daughters: Charrish Schronce (Allen) of Belton and Michele Loftis (David) of Greenville; her grandson Casey (Brooke) Schronce of Belton; and great-grandsons Stone and Sutton Schronce.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kristie Anne Ward and two brothers: Ronald and Dwayne Coleman.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 24 at Austin Road Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating.
The family is at the home and will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3 PM at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Austin Road Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1619 Austin Rd, Honea Path, SC 29654.
