Belton - Sandra Elaine Stone Jones, 60, loving wife of James Claude “Jimmy” Jones, left this earthly home during the morning hours of August 8th, in her home after battling cancer for over a year.

Sandra was born on July 30, 1956 in Anderson to the late John Ed and Mescal Whitten Stone. Sandra loved life and loved people. She never met a stranger. Many, many people called her friend because she had such a kind heart and welcoming presence. She loved her flowers and working in the yard. She was employed by Belton Industries for over 30 years and was of the Baptist faith.

She was the wonderful mother of two daughters: Angie (Bobby) Strickland and Jamie (Mark) Tucker all of Belton. She grew up in Honea Path with her three brothers, Terry Stone of Honea Path, Danny Stone and Steve (Nancy) Stone, all of Winnsboro, as well as her one sister, Mary Ann (James “Slick”)  Lollis of Donalds. She was also a Nana to three grandchildren that she adored: Brittany Strickland, Natalie Tucker, and Harley Tucker, all of Belton. She also leaves behind a step-son, Mike (Marti) Jones of Anderson and two step-grandchildren, Zackary Jones and Summey Jones of Anderson. She also leaves behind a four-legged fur-baby, Little Bit, which she was crazy about. She loved spending time with her family and thought her granddaughters hung the moon.
