Born in GreenwoodCounty, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Dorothy Mae Putnam Dutton, Sr. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Southerland enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: her son, Jason (Christine) Southerland of Greenwood, two brothers, John Robert Dutton, Jr. of Ware Shoals and Don Wayne (Miriam) Dutton of Hickory Tavern, two sisters, Velma Mae Elledge (James Sexton) and Sarah Ann (David) Pace, all of Ware Shoals, and her loving grandson, Carter Lucas Southerland of Greenwood.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in GreenwoodMemorialGardens.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Pace, James Bledsoe, Tim McCord, Nathan Knapp, Ronnie Knapp, and Nate Shelton.
