Ware Shoals - Shelby Joan Martin Harvey, 75 died at Self Regional Medical Center, Sunday, April 14, 2013. She was born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Rayford and Carolyn Martin. She was retired activity director from Capsugel and was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Jan Robertson of Ware Shoals, two sisters, Marcia Riddle and Patsy Davis, both of Greenwood, and a grandson, Zach Robertson. She was pre-deceased by a son, Dennis Gamble, a sister, Glenda Sweat, two grandchildren, Kristina and Nicholas Gamble and a daughter-in-law, Teresa Gamble.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
