Honea Path – Ruby Bell Pruitt, 86, passed away Saturday, October 9, at AnMed Heath Medical Center, in Anderson, SC.

 She was a life-long resident of Abbeville County, and retired from the Honea Path Shirt Plant. Ruby was the daughter of the late Mel Pruitt and Nancy Alewine Pruitt. She was predeceased by her only sibling, Max Pruitt in the year 2005. Ruby was a faithful and loyal servant of Broadmouth Baptist Church. She was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School class, the church WMU, the church Choir and the Honey Bees Senior Group. She had just received a Perfect Attendance Certificate, for the past Sunday School year. She received numerous certificates though-out the years. Ruby is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a cousin, Peggy Clamp Wilson and her husband, Frank of Piedmont, SC. Surviving also, are numerous cousins of the Pruitt and Alewine families.
