Honea Path – Gloria June Hamby Bolden, 72, of 928 Tornado Rd, wife of Jessie Eugene Bolden, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

 

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Milford and Sarah Jane Gambrell Hamby. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired from Blair Mills.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: two sons Randy Cole (Aimee) of Pendleton, James Cole of Honea Path; three daughters, Derrie Mitchell (Randy) of Anderson, Sandy Brocklehurst (David) of Belton, Melissa Lay (Kenny) of Belton; two brothers, Wallace Hamby (Linda) of Surfside Beach, Mike Hamby (Sissy) of Seneca, sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and one special niece, Tracy Sears. She was predeceased by a brother, Larry Hamby, a sister, Brenda Hart and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper, Rev. Archie Sharpe and Rev. Stan Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.  The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home.
