Patricia King

Honea Path – Patricia Ann Martin King, 71, wife of Rev. R. Boyd King, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at AnMed Health Center.

Born in Cherokee County, she was the daughter of Margaret C. Blanton Martin and the late Lonzo Martin. She was a member of Honea Path Church of God and a homemaker. She was very active in all aspects of her church ministry and a devoted Minister’s wife for more than 50 years.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 531/2 years of the home and mother of Pacolet are: two sons, David King and wife Dana of Honea Path and Mark King and wife Erin of Iva, a daughter, Lori King of the home, a brother, Larry Martin of Pacolet, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at Honea Path Church of God with Rev. Ken Anderson, Rev. Eric Shuler and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 11 – 12:30 Friday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621. Pruitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
