Sloan Brock

Donalds – Sloan Brock, 66, husband of Susan Jane South Brock, of 379 W. Main St. Donalds, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at AnMed Health Center.

Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Porter Efrong and Lucille Young Brock. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church, and a retired carpenter, having worked for S.J. Groves of Atlanta, GA.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two brothers: Johnnie Brock of Honea Path and Jasper Brock of Ware Shoals.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ellen Alewine, and Bertha Mae Jones.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Mr. Tom South officiating. Burial followed at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
