Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Lewis H. and Mae Gambrell Ridge. He was a member of Honea Path First Baptist Church, was retired from Wells Aluminum, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Ridge is survived by two daughters: Kimberly R. Good (Larry) and Lisa R. Butler (Mike); three grandchildren: Edwin Good (Lacey), Daniel Good, and Elyse Butler; and one sister: Frances Wolfe of Greenwood.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Joe, Roy, Bob, and John Ridge; and five sisters: Carrie Finley, Ruth Campbell, Ruby Young, Elizabeth Ridge, and Gladys Black.

Private services will be held at a later date.
