Born in Coos Bay OR, she was a daughter of Kermit William Scholl and Beth Roberts Putnam. She was a member of the Anderson Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a homemaker. She was a former Girl Scout leader and PTA treasurer for many years. Amber was a devoted mother and wife who loved life and always had a smile for everyone.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: her son, Richard Paul Levingston and her daughter, Marion Elizabeth Levingston, both of the home, her step-daughter, Natallie Lynn Levingston of PA, her brother, Kyle Scholl of VA, and three sisters, Katie, Ally and Sarah Sheehand, all of PA.

Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Anderson Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
