Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was a daughter of Charlotte Reinig Good and the late George Cook. She was self-employed and worked in sales. She was a mother to all, and the best woman we ever knew.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two sons: Robert Donovan Sims and fiancée Sara Brock of Augusta, GA, and Seth Alan Sims and wife Wren of Danielsville, GA; one sister, Cheryl Guzzaldo-Cook; one grandson: Silas Asher Sims; and her stepfather: Ralph Good.
