Belton – Mary Gwenn Pratt Stewart, 85, wife of Gary Albert Cobb, of Blue Ridge Avenue, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Etowah TN, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Lily Taylor Pratt. Mary retired from The Greenville News.

Surviving are a son: Howard Stewart (Saundra) of Belton; three daughters: Betty Harless (Billy) of Travelers Rest, Sara Spangler (Chuck) of Belton, and Sue Clontz of Anderson; sixteen grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and a son-in-law: Wesley Barbare.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldean Barbare and  four brothers: Roy Pratt, Burt Pratt, Wallace Payne, and Westin Payne.
