Janice Gambrell

Belton – Janice Alewine Gambrell, 53, of 104 Kirby Road, died Saturday at her home.

Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Oscar lee Alewine and Dollie Pierce Standrige. She was a seamstress.

Surviving are one son, James Gambrell of the home, one daughter, Stacy Gambrell of the home, three brothers, Dale Alewine of Honea Path, Jim Alewine of Piedmont, and Eddy Alewine of Gainsville, one sister, Gladys Sisum of Gainsville, Ga., and three grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Mary Ellen Lollis and a brother, James Alewine.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. N. Andrew Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
