Ware Shoals – James Furman Page, 78 of 619 Smith Street Ext., husband of Dorothy Ricketts Page died March 4, 2008 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Jefferson City, Tennessee, he was a son of the late James “Boyce” Page and Lydia Ellen Ponder Page. He was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church and the Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge #306. He was formerly associated with Frank Meyers Motors in Anderson for many years.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one brother; Dwight Page of Fountain Inn, two sisters; Anne Reid of Greenville and Hilda Tumblin of Simpsonville. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers; Trenton Page and Charles Page.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Thursday at Ware Shoals First Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary escort will be the Goodwill Sunday School Class along with the men of the church and Richard Crowe, Scott Giles, Ralph Smith, Keith Smith and J.E. Cooper.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Ware Shoals First Baptist Church, PO Box 449, Ware Shoals, SC 29692.
