Honea Path – Margie Sue Jennings Lollis, 86, widow of Edgar Donald Lollis, of Mitchell Street, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Gladys Ables Jennings. She was a member of Donalds Church of God and retired from Chiquola Mills.
Surviving are: her son, Rev. James Ray (Edna) Lollis of Donalds; her daughter, Judy (Aubrey) Gambrell of Honea Path; a brother, Daniel (Retha) Jennings of Belton; two sisters, Linda Bell and Ann (Buddy) Mason, both of Belton; five grandchildren, Jeff (Jill) Lollis, Michelle (Tim) Thrasher, Jamie (Ashley) Lollis, Amanda (Chad) Darby, April (Stevie) Black; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Luke Lollis, Andrew Lollis, Caleb Dunlap, Brittny Peterson, James David Lollis, Alex Lollis, Hallie Vickers, Morgan Knight, Mattison Knight, Aiden Knight, Austin Gambrell, Taylor Black, Peyton Black, Kinsley Darby, Hailey Darby, and Cody Darby.
Mrs. Lollis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Calvin Jennings, Sam Jennings, and Billy Jennings; a sister, Bobbie Crawford; and a grandchild, Chris Gambrell.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2023 at Donalds Church of God with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
