Laurens – Mildred Omathine Tripp Madden, widow of Joseph B Madden, died Sunday September 9, 2018 at NHC in Clinton.
Born in Clinton, she was a daughter of James and Sara Smith Tripp. She was a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons, James Timothy Madden (Iva) of Lexington, Steven D Madden of Laurens and Glenn Keith Madden of Indonesia, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Jerome Tripp.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Thursday September 13 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Roger Smith officiating.
