Honea Path – Irvin Eugene Vaughn, 78, husband of Diane Fisher Vaughn, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Pinkney and Cleo Hinton Vaughn. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church and was retired from The Torrington Company.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: a son, Mark Eugene (Crystal) Vaughn of Honea Path, a daughter, Connie Lynn Cromer of Anderson, two grandsons raised in the home, Cody Rhodes and Robbie Rhodes, a sister, Rachael Brock of Anderson, five other grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Horace Albert, John Henry, Marvin, and James Vaughn and two sisters, Elizabeth Young and Mamie Page.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 3 P.M. at Little River Baptist Church with Rev. Garrett Hart and Rev. Frankie McClain officiating. Burial will follow in Little River Baptist Church Cemetery.
