Honea Path – George Michael “Mikey” Brock, 53, husband of Cristie Reid, of 209 Holiday Dam Road, died Monday at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Roy and Polly Brown Brock. He was of the Church of God Faith and was formerly employed as S.S. Smith Lumber Co.
Surviving are his wife of the home, his parents of Honea Path, a son, Michael Wayne Brock of Honea Path, and a sister, Sharon Ridgeway of Belton. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Donald Ray Brock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Richardson and Rev. Bennie Dyar officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
