Donalds – Frankie Lou Smith Youmans, 73, widow of Soloman S. Youmans, of 812 Old Shoals Junction Rd, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her home.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late James Frank and Viola Friar Smith. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Youmans was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are: her son, Joel Holbrooks of Ware Shoals, a daughter, Janice (Jason) Whitted of Donalds, four brothers, Bill (Becky) Smith, Jack (Tammy) Smith, and Ray (Nancy) Smith, all of Ware Shoals, and David Smith of Waterloo, her sister, Evelyn (Don) Uldrick of Donalds, and eight grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two daughters, Cheryl Holbrooks and Anita Holbrooks Gunter, a grandson, Bradley Abrams Gunter, Jr., and a husband, Willie Joel Holbrooks.
Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Nix and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ware Shoals Cemetery.
