Barry Gene Ridgeway, 61, resident of Greenville, SC died peacefully Tuesday August 18, 2015 at the home of his beloved daughter in Mooresboro NC.
Born April 11, 1954 he was raised in Ware Shoals, he was the son of the late Edgar B. and Irene G. Ridgeway. He attended Ware Shoals Schools and was a professional painter by trade.
He was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and shared his faith with everyone he came in contact with. He loved his family and his precious cats.
Surviving are two children, daughter Jessica Sparkle (Adam) McGinnis of Mooresboro, NC and son, Benjamin Barrett Ridgeway of Greenwood, SC.
A memorial service will be held at Turkey Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society.
