Honea Path – Lee Morris Beasley, 69, of 107 Drexler Street, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Morris Workman and Margaret Davis Beasley. He was a member of Chiquola United Methodist Church and a veteran of the South Carolina Army National Guard. He was retired from Parke-Davis, where he worked as a supervisor. Mr. Beasley was a member of Centre Lodge #307 A.F.M. and a Shriner. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are: two sons, Christopher Morris Beasley and Zachary Lee Beasley, both of Honea Path, a daughter, Jennifer Brooke Jarrard of Simpsonville, a sister, Barbara Burnett of Honea Path, and three grandchildren, Jaden Lee Jarrard, Lola Isabelle Jarrard, and Landon Alexander Roper. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Beasley.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jones Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview cemetery.
